STERICOM® Sanitary Aseptic Valves are equipped with compact ECOVENT actuators, which allow for easy installation in extremely limited spaces. The actuators are reversible in their function and welded (maintenance-free). The piston packing ring is not subject to wear and has a virtually unlimited service life. When developing the STERICOM® Valve series, special attention was paid to the hygienic exterior design: The closed lantern and all liquid draining surfaces are without cavities or gaps, making the valve suitable for easy and safe outside cleaning in any installation position.

Designed for sterile and aseptic processes primarily in the dairy and food markets, the STERICOM® LongLife Type N_A/D range has new, unique features with significant user benefits. One of the prime features is a long metal bellows service life. The new type of spherical housing design, with ideal flow transition sections, provides for careful transport of the product with optimal cleaning efficiency. The use of actuators from the tried and trusted GEA Tuchenhagen VARIVENT® system and a new, open design of lantern, are further significant features.
Features at a glance:
STERICOM® Double Seal Valves provide safe media separation in sterile process applications. They are equipped a with one piece valve disk (metal bellows) and double radial valve seats. This innovative valve seat configuration allows for valve actuation using a single-acting, pneumatic actuator with "One-Spring Technology."
The new VESTA® valve generation from GEA Tuchenhagen has been specially designed without a membrane to provide the most effective sterile valve system available. The valves are pocket-free, provide absolute drainage and are easy to install. They are ideal for low flow volume applications in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and biotech segments.
With a size range from DN 10 - 65 (DIN), 1/2" - 2 1/2" (OD), and 42,4x2 - 76,1x2 (ISO), VESTA® valves are the smallest of their kind to operate without the use of a membrane. Instead, sealing is achieved through hermetically sealed PTFE bellows which are pocket free, avoiding the retention of process product and allowing effective sterilization. Their design also allows the orientated vertically or horizontally for easy fitting in confined spaces.
VESTA® sterile valves can be used in a wide range of applications in the laboratory or within complex process plants.
